Mitt Romney the Great, More like Willard the Pussy

Well, let's see...Willard doesn't want to talk about his record at Bain, despite the fact that he claims to be a gud bid-ness man. And he wants to make his family off limits. And he doesn't want to talk about his record as governor. And, he still refuses to release his tax or financial records.

So what's left, the Salt Lake City Olympics?

The maybe gay kid, he and  his frat boys bullyed in high school?

His missionary work in France?

His reasons for not enlisting to fight in the Vietnam war despite being such a war hawk back in the day?

His recent trip overseas to demonstrate his ability to piss off foreign diplomats while taking talking points from the billionaire casino owner who owns him?

How about we talk about those $5000 Brooks Brothers suits you wear, Mittens? Would that work for you? Is the new car elevator in your summer home a good topic?

Or maybe we can discuss your wife's lame ass dancing horse that bombed in olympic competition last week?

There is a line in everybody's bible which says basically, “you reap what you sow” and what you sow you get back ten fold. Here in the ghetto we say, “don't start nuthin', won't be nuthin.”

You will recall that Romney won the GOP primaries by torching all his opponents-throwing massive and negative ad campaigns against them until they dropped out, one by one. Now he is getting it back. . He figured he would do the same thing to the President to win the election, because “we the people” are stupid like that.

To that end, he's raised more money than the President has beaucoup bucks to scorch Obama. But there is a problem.

There is not much to scorch Obama with. He's been vetted so much that all the new rumors and gossip are coming directly from the National Enquirer, thanks to that fool Jerome Corsi. All of the Romney ads are lies, even republicans are attacking Romney's attacks, calling them lies.

Willard, on the other hand, is apparently as dirty as the day is long. However his major mistake was thinking he could stand before “we the people” in all his white anglo mormon privilege and simply tell us, “no.” I'm not gonna talk about it. NO, I'm not gonna share it with you. NO, I'm not gonna give you the information that is expected when a man or woman runs for president of the United States.

I don't care that Romney is mega rich. But I do care that he doesn't think enough of us to treat “we the people” with respect.

He has the money. He assembled his modern day prick posse of big money bigots and expects to ride off into the sunset with the White House in tow behind one of his Mercedes.

I truly hope we can burst that bubble.

Surely the GOP can do better than Willard Mittens Romney.

Condi/Mittens- Swirling for America

Oh shit! Mitt Romney's gonna choose Condoleeza Rice as his vice president! Quick let me run out and change my party registration to Republican...

At least that is the reaction Mitt and his handlers are hoping for from Black people. I mean after all, if you want black votes all you gotta do is put a Negro on the ticket somewhere, or in the organization in a visible position of pseudo authority and voila, you get the whole community en toto. Right?

That's how Obama got elected, remember. 150% of all Black people voted for Obama in 2008, including Condi, Clarence, and probably even Herman, if you believe the rumors. How else can a Black man get into the White House? Surely no real white people would vote him in. Right?

Considering that self identified Blacks still only make up 13% of the population, we did obviously have some help-must a been all those suddenly avowed mixed race people, too.

Why all this talk about  Condi, the former Secretary of State and BFF to both Bush Presidents?

Matt Drudge is trumpeting a new exclusive this morning, that Condoleeza Rice is on the short list of candidates to run with Mitt Romney as VP. He didn't say Mittens had chosen her, only that she was on the short list. And I'll bet my next paycheck this “exclusive” was handed to the reportorially challenged wannabe by the Romney organization as a means of changing the subject in the media.

By that I mean, Romney needs time to recover from the latest round of allegations about his allegedly shady business dealings concerning Bain Capital, these past several years, so he is floating Condi's name as a distraction. After all she is also Black and intelligent and her selection or consideration would seem to contradict the feeling that Mitt is rich, bigoted and clueless, following his speech to the NAACP earlier this week.

Note to Mitt: If you want to swirl, what about the Lt. Governor of Florida? Oh right, she's caught up in a same sex/tape scandal down in the sunshine state. Did you know that before you made her your date to the NAACP convention, earlier this week? Hmmmmm?

Anyway....

Rice has already NFW'ed the idea and I tend to agree, after all she is a policy-wonk and seemingly not very politically motivated. Romney has also promised that his VP choice would be anti-abortion. Condi is on record as being pro-choice. But we all know by now that Romney is prone to changing his mind regularly, depending on the way the wind blows.

Choosing Condi would also put a more powerful spotlight on the fact that Mittens is not really creating anything new.

He is recycling Dubya. It's Bush-lite warmed over and what better way to do that than to float the story that you're considering Dubya's second lady as your choice for VP.

It's certainly more fun than selling the people on your foreign cred by traveling to other countries to hold fund raising events.

What? Jerusalem fund raiser canceled?  Israelis too busy praying to throw money at you?

Open Letter to Willard Mitt Romney

Dear Mr. Romney,

Please forgive the formality, but even though you dominate the news on any given day, I don't hardly feel that I know you well enough to call you by your first name at this point in our relationship, you being such a formal and strait laced kind of guy, and all.

I wanted to introduce myself to you, since you've obviously never met someone like me. All of your statements and pontifications specifically spell out the kinds of people you know and are comfortable with and I don't see myself . I don't even see myself depicted in your campaign infomercials aimed at getting voters to like you.

What is it? You don't think people like me vote? Did Mrs. Romney not tell you that women come in all colors, ethnic and economic backgrounds, too, just like men? Has she told you yet, that women actually outnumber men?

Because I am female, Mr. Romney. I'm also not rich, I am successful and happy in my life, and happen to be Black and lesbian. But if it makes you feel better, I'm not really on this same sex marriage tip. Not that I don't think gay people should be married. I just don't think marriage works for women, gay or straight. It's an outdated institution.

But I guess that thought is a bridge too far for your traditional thinking, huh..

People like me do vote Mr. Romney. People like me do pay very close attention, Mr. Romney. We also have concerns for those not so fortunate. You know, poor people, those of us without trust funds, who have to work for a living.

I have to admit, I don't see any empathy or compassion leeching from your pores for the poor or swiftly disappearing middle class, and that causes me great concern. I mean, how can you be president of only some of the people? Isn't the presidency an all or nothing kind of job?

What are you going to do, on your first day in office....deport those of us who don't fit your ideal of American? You going to issue an executive order revoking our humanity like your Mormon forefathers did to my forefathers and me, prior to 1978? I was born in 1950, so you and your church didn't grant me human cred until I was 28.

Was that a christian compassionate move or merely a political one in anticipation of a Mormon takeover of the US of A?

By the way, I want to congratulate you on your overwhelming financial success in life. You've taken that leg up from your trust fund and turned it into millions, possibly billions of dollars and I can only guess how well it is compounding in those tax havens around the globe. We all know you're rich, but we can only guess at whether it is the “m” word or the “b” word since you still haven't gotten around to releasing your tax returns.

Blackmailing President Obama into keeping the Bush tax policies in place has really, really been good for you and your cronies. I can understand why you wouldn't want things to change too much.

From your earnings alone, it is obvious that for people like you, Obama's econ policy is on the right track. Why it's even trickling down to the rest of us. So why do you want to change policies? If we go back to the economic past, pre-Obama, like you say you intend to do, you won't screw yourself up much but you will mess up the rest of us, again.

Wouldn't it be better to continue on the current path, which is working for everyone and not just some?

But I guess if we did that, there would be no need for change in the White House. You could stay in Michigan, riding your new elevator up and down, and Obama could stay in DC. Obviously, since you've been running for president for 12 years, that is not the outcome that you have pictured mentally, is it?

Mr. Romney, there is an old saying about judging a person by the company they keep and I have to tell you that I am deeply concerned about the company in which you've placed yourself.

Clowns and crazy people, really?

You're running around the country doing fundraisers with Donald Trump, the on-paper millionaire and have selected Robert Bork as one of your chief advisers. Really? I mean Really!? In fact, all of your chief advisers come from Dubya, don't they, thus revealing your desire to turn back the hands of time. But you supplied the feminine touch by adding your wife to that mix, didn't you. How very diverse of you.

Question- other than your wife, are there no other women with whom you're comfortable? Phyllis Schlafley too old? That woman from NOM too crazy for the mix? What about Michelle Malkin, she's both brown, ethnic, and in denial.

Are there no other closeted Log Cabin Republicans hidden inside your campaign organization that you can talk out some of this angst you obviously have around the LGBT community? There are many gay republicans out there. Conservative ones too.

Are Herman Cain or Clarence Thomas, or Thomas Sowell, or Condi or General Powell not returning your calls? Don't Fiddy or Diddy or Kanye make enough money to be courted and invited to a Romney fundraiser? What about the Johnsons or Oprah? They are billionaires for goodness sakes.

Surely there are some Hispanic former immigrant types who have turned against their people and become republicans. Marco Rubio can't be only brown fat cat in your social circle, can he.

Don't you feel the ethnic bond with your brown brothers, Mr. Romney, since we are all African on this planet regardless of the color of our skins and the continent we call home.

Shouldn't the 21^st century be about inclusion rather than exclusion, especially since the biggest lie of all creation, that being that your people are the majority in this world, is about to be exposed and disposed of permanently?

Something to think about Mr. Romney.

OMG! The Great White Hope...is a Black Man!

Who-da thunk that the current GOP "flavor" is that chocolate covered peril named Herman Cain. He's the front runner for the GOP nomination, if you believe the latest poll numbers today. The way the GOP has spent the past three years vilifying Obama, one would think that another Black man wouldn't stand  a snowball's chance in hell of getting into the White House . Maybe he still doesn't,  since he hasn't won the nomination yet.

Most pundits on TV still say Herb, er Herman is unelectable, despite his front runner status.  Chris Christie endorsed Mitt and the Half Gov can't even get his name right. But there he is, right at the front of the pack....this week anyway.

Maybe it's  a trick to make us think that the teabags have finally  gotten past playing the race card to win elections, which along with voodoo economics remains the only republican political strategy going back to Richard Nixon.

Herman calls himself a "real Black man."  Unlike the president who has some very visible "white" in his family tree. Herman graduated from Morehouse. He even married a Black woman, which we all know is not typical  successful Black man behavior. We don't know if he can hoop, haven't seen those pictures yet.

But white people do like the way he talks tough...direct...to the point....just like the mythical black man that lives inside their collective mind,  like the one they expected Obama  to be. Cain fits the image of other  black men and some women in the GOP...Black men like Uncle Clarence or the man named Steele. College educated Black men with degrees up the wha-zoo but with no discernible functioning neural ganglia between them.  I do use the term "white" to refer to the GOP because other than a "black walnut" or two, there are no swirls in their  preferred blend of Haagan Daaz, and that is by design going back years and years and years. Cain says all the things that many teabaggers wish they could say out loud. He can be the racist in their dream conversations without worrying about being called a racist by the media. After all, Cain is black like us, and as we all know, it's okay for a black to call another black a nigga. Whites can think it, but they better not say it, right?

H-I-T-M....WTF!?....stands for "Herman's Intelligent Thinkers Movement. Bet he made that up all by himself.

Not catchy enough...probably even scares off white people, especially the educationally challenged ones in the bunch. Why not BWC...Black Walnuts for Cain....makes you think of flashy cars or chicken wings, two things guaranteed to attract black people, right?

Did you know that Herman's biggest claim to fame was single-handedly defeating "Hillarycare" during the Clinton Administration? Not something that will endear him to Liberals and Progressives of any persuasion. He's trying to keep that quiet...likes "pizza man" nickname better, I would guess.

Message to Herman....to paraphrase the AGP's (American Ghetto Princesses) ,"if you ain't talking J-O-Bs, you need to git outta my face!"

As for the 999 plan....This ITBL (intelligent, thinking black lesbian) says it's bogus and built on the backs of poor people, just like everything else coming out of the teabag movement.


Black man or not, close your eyes and  Herman is  still soundin' like a slave overseer rather than a slave.

What Cain doesn't get is that even the Overseers were slaves, despite their "special" status.

Congress on Vacation?! Nigga Please!

Hey lawmakers...

Now, how you gon go on vacation when the job ain't finished yet? Sure you raised the debt ceiling, elevating what should have been a footnote on the national conversation into an attention-grabbing headline. That's been your MO since BHO took office. But the job's not done. It ain't over yet!

What about the Federal Aviation Administration?

I guess I should pat you on the back, while you go play in the sunshine, mistress in tow, with your third trophy wife and privately educated, very privileged brats,  because you're saving America 16-million dollars a year by allowing the FAA to crash and burn...Congratulations!

Your fake-ass fascade of fiscally responsible legislator  is intact...until you look at the details.

Shutting down the FAA  is costing the American taxpayer 30-million dollars a day, with the bandido airlines laughing all the way to the bank.

How is this a good thing? As bad as I am at math...this is crazy! It's like using a glock to hunt ants at a picnic....Crazy! Totally batshit crazy!

Save $16 million over 365 days, while losing $30 million a day on every one of those 365 days..

I repeat...how is this a good thing?

All ya'll ran on jobs platforms while campaigning for office...you been beating Obama over the head because nobody is working...yet...the FAA shutdown has caused more than 40,000 people to be laid off and countless thousands more to continue working without a paycheck...and all because you want to stand on political principle to prove your point.

How is this a good thing?  From your vantage point on the beach, surely you can see this is a problem..

I mean what happens if one of those guys who ain't gittin' paid decides to doze off from lack of sleep or food..take his eyes off the monitor with a big ass jumbo jet baring down on some unsuspecting airport runway loaded with regional puddle jumpers lining up for take off? Huh?

Do I have to point out that you...Congress...are still getting paid...you haven't missed a paycheck during any of these back to back to back made up crises...your paychecks are classified as emergency funds by law...which means you will get paid when there is no money for anyone or anything else in the entire country.....just like the sanctity of  your health care and your one man-one woman marriages...you will have it all...regardless...

Congress makes the laws...and since all bills must originate in the House of Representatives, you've protected yourself.... tucking away your paychecks and your automatic pay raises, in a remote facility safe from fallout...while repeatedly hanging the rest of us out to dry.

Does that seem fair to you? Do you understand that we the people might be a little pissed off?

And what about the unemployed...you been dangling them over the fire for months...refusing to extend unemployment insurance or create jobs...while the states cut aid to the formerly middle class and poverty stricken under class.

The poor bear the brunt of your folly while you trade blond lobbyist girlfriends,  fiddle around with hookers or your assistant's wife or eat cake. The country...meantime.. is caught between a rock...no jobs...and a hard place...an uncaring Congress...

America's first pundit was a guy by the name of Wil Rogers..a Native American, jack of all trades good guy.

Back in 1931 Rogers delivered a speech called "Bacon, Beans and Limousines." It happened in midst of the Great Depression, and truer words were never spoken.

During that speech, Rogers told the public that America is the only country in the world where the poor can drive themselves to the poor house, because everybody in America has a car..even poor people.

Today it  is a good thing we all have cars, because in this so called Recession of 2007-2011...in case your house gets taken away by the mortgage company...you will still have someplace to live...at least until the bank loan on the car gets called..

No Social Security Checks?! When Pigs Fly

So now we're being told that Social Security checks for August may not go out, if Congress doesn't put a deficit deal in place. It goes without saying that watching helplessly while Congress and the White House play chicken with my life is not sitting very well with me.

Rather than negotiate in good faith, the GOP lead by Miz Mitch McConnell from Kentucky wants to give the President more power than allocated by the United States Constitution to solve the problem. Only trouble is, it is a catch 22 for the White House..accept the power described by McConnell in his grand idea and the GOP/teabaggers will immediately fall back on all their third world banana republic scenarios, claiming Obama is attempting to establish himself as America's first dictator.

It's a trap whose only purpose as McConnell has repeatedly stated, is to bring down Barack Obama, limiting him to one term in office. He needs help cleaning up the GOP mess left over from the past decade, but he's not gonna get it from Congress, apparently.

According to all sides and sources, we need to increase the debt limit or face dire consequences financially, including a return, if you will, to recession or even depression. Some sources are even predicting the end of the world as we know it, if steps aren't taken soon.  Okay, so what's the holdup?

Well the GOP wants to cut entitlements. Read that Medicaid, Medicare, and gut social security.  They see no need to fix the infrastructure or create more jobs or recreate the manufacturing base that built this country in the first place.

They see no need to make health care even more affordable, after all, they already have it. Their salaries are protected under emergency funding, meaning they will get paid even if the country defaults on everything else.

 They see no need to cut defense spending, just in case we have to go to war again and despite the fact that we will never fight war like this again. The neocons still cling to the visions of batallions of men marching toward one another on an open field, while war has evolved to the push button phase from the safety of our own borders. And they have no clue or idea what to do with the vets who are returning home from the illegal actions that have been raging for the past several years.  We treat our vets worse than we treat poor people in this country, and that's pretty bad.

They also see no need to raise taxes on the wealthy, figuring, I would guess, that the middle class can  absorb about $500 in cuts per person better than the wealthy can come up with $5 per person to help out. They see no need to increase the revenue base at all.

American jobs are still being shipped overseas.... most workers haven't seen a pay increase bigger than 2% for the past several years, while corporate honchos are averaging 28% increases before the yearly bonus.

Unemployment is at 9.2% if you happen to be white. If you're black...it's right around 16%..Not much has changed since the days of Ronald Reagan.

So inquiring minds want to know...

1...Why is the GOP afraid of the Tea Party...so much so that it is allowing the inmates to run the asylum since most of these insane solutions for cutting the deficit come from the teabagger caucus?  Are there no moderate republicans willing to stand up and lead rather than to follow the crazies over the cliff dragging America into oblivion?

2...Why does the White House see the need to always capitulate to the right, when it wasn't the right that elected the president in the first place? When does "Change" become a big idea rather than a whispered wish?  There once was a dream that was change. What happened?

This White House is like a ballplayer who comes to the plate in the bottom of the ninth...two outs...bases loaded...team down by three runs...winning run at the plate..time to go big or go home...what do you do...lay down a bunt...or swing for the fence...This White House tends to bunt more often than not...

3...When does Congress stand up for the middle class and do the job it is supposed to do, which is to protect us from the whims of both the right and left crazies, the bloodsuckers of the corporate world and the wolves of Big Pharma who see people as nothing more than human lab rats with pockets full of money?

4...When are the American people going to stand up and vote in their own best interests rather than sit back and allow the power elite to drive the frenzied mob into a stampede that overwhelms the voting booth, snatching power from the people?

Me?  Voting at every opportunity for my own best interests, but still making plans to expatriat, having lost faith in the courage of the American people...

Friday Rap-Election Week Postmortem Edition

Well, the mid terms are over and just when I think America has broken out of the groundhog loop and righted the ship, they fall backward again.

I mean how many times, do we have to repeat this loop before people realize that repeating crazy results in crazy.

It's not as bad as it seems, except maybe here in Ohio, where now we have rich men in power, again determined to keep an already backward state in the dark ages of transportation and education, among other things.

Kasich returns this time to the governor's office, thanks to his wall street friends and he has signaled that he is not going to allow anyone else to grow, starting with dismantling the progress that outgoing Ted Strickland began.

Every single “new guy” elected this cycle was in Congress when Dubya and company trashed this country. Every single one of them....Kasich....Portman...Chabot....Boehner...and Schmidt...

Every single one of them a professional politician...the very ones who destroyed Congress..

These are all old establishment white guys whose only concern is keeping power. If they really and truly had a clue or a solution...We, as a country would not be in the trouble that we're in today.

You voted for them...this is what you got.....All of them are against anything LGBT...All of them are against affirmative action and civil rights equality of minorities.....All of them want to privatize social security......All of them favor dismantling the Department of Education and Veteran's Administration, despite claiming to support our troops, which they all voted to send to Bush's illegal wars....This is the way they voted the last time they had power...and as for women...well....barefoot and pregnant and not in the workforce is their preference for us...

Time to take your medicine Ohio...open your mouth...or maybe I should say....bend over....

Michael Jackson

Michael has a new album coming out next month and typical of  MJ, there is controversy with his friends and family saying the voice is not his, but that of a sound alike.

Personally, I think Michael's diggin' it. He transitioned like Obi Wan when the Jedi allowed his student to “kill” him and as a result strengthened the force. Considering how much money Michael has made since he became one with the force, he is probably very happy and finally content.

Falling Merrily Down the Rabbit Hole

Well, I opened the drapes this morning and the sun was coming up. It is a cold and frosty November day. A crisp morning, not yet winter cold, but a day where you can see your breath hanging in the air before you. The 2010 midterms are over and while everything changed, nothing actually changed.

Another SOSDD situation...Same Old Shit...Different Day for those who don't know the acronym. It's Groundhog Day, again. 

Watching the election returns last night were pretty disheartening. There was an empty feeling in my gut when I went to bed because the results were showing that in America, nothing really had changed, in that white Americans don't like minorities and they proved it once again. The violent angry right wing which would be happier if I didn't exist, took back its country. They served notice that my short number of days as an equal American are over. 

The “boy” in the White House didn't live up to expectations, didn't genuflect on cue, didn't pay enough lip service to who “really built and owns this country.” The uppity and elitist SOB and his black wife weren't grateful enough for being allowed to live on Pennsylvania Avenue...didn't show it. 

Hell, they generously gave him two years to fix the mess...Hercules cleaned the Aegean stables in a day and they were a total mess. What's the problem?

You can justify it anyway you want...paint it any color you want to paint it...but the truth of the matter is born out by exit polls, and that is white America....80% of GOP whites....closeted democratic whites...fake ass independent whites....gay and straight whites....are afraid of the Black man in the White House.  

That was the GOP/Tea KKK bagger campaign....fear Obama....fear his policies regardless of his success at moving the country away from the brink of depression. There were no issues other than Obama...no solutions...just a campaign for untrusting fraidy cat silly white people. 

From top to bottom. From the state to the federal level, they put the white guys back. Not just any white guys, but the very same white guys who nearly destroyed this country and ran on the same platform they've been pushing for 30 years. The same platform of mass destruction for everyone except for rich people. 

These aren't new people with the exception of Rand Paul. Paul is young crazy replacing an old crazy, Jim Bunning. Paul is second generation rich, crazy and racist, who is just arrogant enough to keep disdain for poor people on display as he works to dismantle social security and medicaid, public education and veteran's affairs to name a few. At least his father kept his racism to himself, until somebody found his old newletters and exposed them. 

Paul is not up to destroying Medicare, however. All of his patients are on medicare. In other words, Paul is set on keeping his own government paycheck intact He just traded up in the size of his own personal government handout. And I'll bet he takes health care, too.
Everyone else, however, is screwed. 

Poor white people who are right there along with me, disdained and unwanted by the rich, are still apparently delusional in their thinking that their color makes them better than me and just like their wealthier counterparts, who don't want anymore to do with them,
then they do with me.

I will never understand what it is that makes poor white people literally cut off their collective nose to spite their face, just to be able say, “well at least I am white, “ like that means something. Must be genetic. 

NOTE TO POOR WHITE PEOPLE: The GOP job plan is probably going to be to bomb Iran, so more of you can go die...but you'll die employed. Hope you die in the line of duty because if you do come back...there won't be any benefits or VA to take care of you. Certainly no health care or social nets to help your families. I guess that is okay. Must be,
because you voted for it. 

NOTE TO GAY PEOPLE: Back in the closet with your festive self, because DADT and DOMA are still the law of the land and ENDA...don't think it's gonna happen. The GOP likes its gays, quiet, closeted and controlled. 

Saw a facebook comment from one anti Obama gay white girl who said gays will just have to work harder in order to pass equality laws....WORK HARDER?! Silly white gay...all of it was on the table to be passed before 2012, all you had to do was to trust the black guy and display an unselfish patience for a change. 

Whatever happened to working smarter instead of harder? How smart was voting against Obama? Think the newly outed Ken Mehlman is going to strap on a big red cape and become superman for gay people. Think about that for a minute.

Tea Party Arrogance or Bachmann-Palin Overdrive

“Don't let your mouth get your ass in trouble”-ghetto wisdom...

For those who don't speak nor purport to understand ghetto, the line means that sometimes the best strategy is to simply be quiet....don't talk....don't give anyone a glimpse into your mind and what you're thinking, because you will last longer before and during the fight, if it comes to that...

Running off at the mouth is a sign of weakness....a sign that you really don't have a plan and even if you did...you can't back it up with any kind of real action. Once your hole card has been peeped...folks will usually walk away shaking their heads.....however....keep talking... and they will turn around and come back and beat your ass....

Tea baggers would do well to heed the ghetto wisdom and just shut up....stop talking...because the more they talk, the less anyone wants to deal with them..or vote for them, for that matter.

Last month surveys showed a little support for the tea baggers....this month...that support has evaporated to less than half of what it was...and it wasn't a majority or even close, in the first place.

It's like what's going on with half baked Alaska....great fun to watch...but taken seriously....not!

The teabaggers won a primary...big deal....an election of the faithful...maybe 10% of the electorate? Nothing to crow about....Nothing like November, coming up...Only now...they're selling wolf tickets..playin' the dozens with the people...as if they have a mandate to govern...

First comes Rand Paul, son of Ron who isn't too thrilled with parts of the Civil Rights Act of 1964...He even went so far during his private country club victory speech to declare his gang was going to take back the country...The next day he said it was okay for business owners to keep certain people out of their establishments and that it was even okay if the denial was based on something like skin color..

Paul the younger has spent several days attempting to walk back his comments....

Meantime, another round of primaries is over and out of Nevada comes another teabagger named Sharron Angle...Ms Angle is situated to the right of the cluelessly insane rantings of the GOP Bachmann-Palin Overdrive.

Angle wants to repeal the 14^th Amendment to the Constitution...you know that's the one guaranteeing citizenship to all people born here. It was put in place to protect Black people from crazy white people who felt that Blacks were only good for picking cotton and working in the sugar fields.

Now the 14^th creates anchor babies for illegal immigrants and that has the tea party stirred up because as one of them ….I believe his name is Hunter, said....the little immigrant babies' “soul” hasn't been American long enough to warrant citizenship, therefore it shouldn't be granted rights...

Angle also wants to remove the 17^th Amendment which shifted the election of US Senators from state legislators to the people. I would guess because the people aren't smart enough to elect the right kind of leaders..Wonder if she sees the irony...anyway..

In addition, Angle wants to abolish the Department of Education, The Internal Revenue Service, The EPA, privatize Social Security and get rid of all health care including medicare and medicaid...

Dr. Paul, the younger is also on board with these ideas, so one would imagine this is something of an unofficial Teabagger platform rumbling across America. Paul and Hunter, who is already in Congress, have signed off on this too.

However, it's never wise to telegraph what it is you intend to do, before you do it. When your goals are to dis-infranchise or to hurt big segments of the population...it is best to get elected first....if you can....then take away their rights....

Teabaggers, in their monumental arrogance, continue to operate from the premise that they speak for America, and can say anything they want without impunity.

However, it is not the only delusion under which they labor...

There is the delusion that the teabaggers are a grassroots...from the bottom up...populist political movement...instead of one created and funded by rich white guys and former operatives of the GOP...Teabaggers were created as a distraction and to obstruct the real movement taking place in the country...

Teabagger fanaticism has them believing that people.....their people are willing to give up social security...medicare and medicaid to prove the point that government is too big....

I'm still waiting for the social security/medicare card burning parties to prove they are serious about repeal.

Teabaggers believe that all people want their children to be under educated...more so than is already going on, when you compare American schools to foreign schools. White history and white washed education is really all the kids need, right? No need to learn about the others, foreign or American born.

Teabaggers believe it's okay not to tax rich people because the more money rich people have the more they are willing to spend on poor people...it's that “trickle down” thingey....like it's worked so well in the past...

And what about the oil spill....perfect example of how a small government stripped of tax revenue handles a crisis situation....it can't take over or throw money at the crisis to make it better because it has none and is not socialist in nature....

Shouldn't teabaggers be happy about what BP is doing and paying for the clean up on its own?

Doesn't sound like they are happy....Teabaggers and their leaders are foaming at the mouth and demanding that Obama the socialist nationalize BP and use government money to clean up a crisis caused by a free market corporation, apparently because the crisis is not being handled the way they think it should be handled...like...John Wayne leading the cavalry to the rescue...or to trounce the indian marauders...

Teabaggers also believe they are not racist and that nothing they do has racial overtones designed to discriminate.

Yeah...well....keep talking teabaggers.... the people are walkin away right now...but keep on talkin' and that ass whuppin' is just around the corner...can't wait for November 2^nd to get here....

GOP-The Definition of Crazy

The standard definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.

Health care reform is now law and some of the mandates kick in as soon as Obama sets his signature on the document. The very first mandate out of the box is cash money to senior citizens. A rebate from medicare. $250 in spendable greenbacks to all old people regardless of their tea party affiliations or not.

Obama is cutting a check to the elderly. Now how many of those old geezers do you think are going to refuse that snail mail from their socialist government, hmmmmmmmmmm?

They're gonna treat it just like they treat their social security, their medicare, and all that other socialistic crap they get from the government all the time.

Next thing the butterscotch colored Marxist has done is made it illegal for insurance companies to cancel out the claims of really sick people. Think people are going to pull the plug on themselves. Not!

Oh, and those kids born into the world with serious illnesses, well now the insurance companies can not refuse to grant their parents coverage. Think parents are going to opt out and watch their kids die?

Sounds pretty pro life to me.

Republicans have gone lawsuit crazy all over the country claiming that health care reform is not constitutional. They are staking their claim on what's called the individual mandate. What this is, is the requirement contained in the bill that makes everyone buy health insurance. The goobers of the GOP say there is no precedent and therefore it is illegal. The government can't force us to do anything like that.

Well, not exactly. Once again the GOP has staked its claim on a foundation built on quicksand. The Constitution of the United States is a very broad document and very little of it is absolute. In addition to Article 6, which is the big one...there are other little phrases and mandates built in...

Ya gotta read the whole thing...not just the parts you like....kind of like interpreting the Bible. Here is a very good explanation for those of you inclined to read further.

Besides, the individual mandate is a tax provision and governed by more powerful laws than just the tiny phrase cherry picked by the GOP. Boehner and company have also been lying about people being thrown in jail if they refuse to buy health care. That is simply not true. They may be hit with a tax, but won't get jail time.

No precedent? Think again...Think cigarette tax...It costs you a lot to kill your lungs and those of the people around you. A tax of this kind is called promoting the general welfare of the public. Since the tax and making everyone buy insurance, lowers the cost for all and reduces the wear and tear on hospital emergency rooms it too falls under the panoply for the good of the general public.

And what about the argument that the government can't penalize you for doing nothing ...Try not paying your taxes come April 15^th...I dare you..

Historically speaking, government individual mandates date all the way back to 1792. Look up the history about State Militias and who was required to buy a gun.

What will play a big part, in these GOP lawsuits is judicial activism. Want examples of judicial activism that sets precedent, if only temporarily, then check out the Missouri Compromise, the Dred Scott decision and Brown v Board of Education.

Don't want to go back that far, then confine your search to the currently sitting Roberts Supreme Court and the various rulings that have come to date on campaign financing, abortion rights, and affirmative action to name a few subjects.

Even conservative law professors say the GOP really has no leg to stand on when it comes to states rights and health care reform. But stranger, crazier things have happened.

So don't hold your breath.

DADT does more than affect gay people. Black women are the primary group being bounced from the military because of this policy...There's a report from the government that shows black women who refuse to sleep with or welcome sexual advances from male officers or fellow soldiers are routinely turned into the brass as lesbians, whether they are or are not. Many women being bounced are in fact straight black women.....screwed no matter what...

What the hell is a hood pass, and who are the one or two Black people who thinks this loose lipped mufuca can entertain? He is known mainly for talking about sex with his exes....Other than the fact that his jump offs are all white...along with his apparently racist and right wing leaning wienie...

What the gay ole party has been doing these past couple of years is BOYCOTTING Obama, not obstructing. When you refuse to support, or attempt to stop something no matter what...that is a boycott or a strike...

It is not an obstruction...an obstacle, or obstruction...can be moved....The GOP has been doing the “we shall not be moved shuffle” since they lost the election. Doesn't matter what Obama says or tries to do, the GOP is agin it, period. They prefer to be called obstructionists because the word implies that someday in the future they might come around and work for the American people..not! They are protecting their ass which is what mediocre politicians do...

But we all know this is never going to happen as long as Obama is in the White House and many Americans, both Black and White continue to listen to GOP lies and bullshit.

Case in point....Medicare..

The GOP has been trying to kill this program since Ronnie Ray-gun spoke out about it back in the day. Yet, the GOP has used the threats of Medicare program cuts and the formation of alleged death panels to scare old people into believing that Obama, by working for healthcare reform, is trying to shorten their stay on earth.

The GOP is in fact, now painting itself as the only hope for a program it's been vigorously trying to kill for the past 40 years....And people are buying the Bullshit!

Problem is...that funny old program called Medicare has to go away according to the GOP plan...don't believe me...read their plan for the future...the one they say...well....the one Sarah Palin, her advisers and some of the GOP vocally support right now..Fair weather congressman, Orangeman John Boehner is as usual, hedging his bets....won't support it...but won't say it sucks either....

The GOP plan for America also wants to privatize Social Security...but we heard that from Dubya a few years ago....so that's not new either....Can you imagine where you'd be if social security had been tied to the stock market these past few years....

The GOP is still working for big business and wall street..

This Road Map to the future also contains more bones for the insurance/healthcare industry than ordinary people...Should have called this mess...the Plan for Erasing the Middle Class.

Abortion Reality Show?! WTF!

I really thought when I stumbled across this article, that it was a joke. Some writer didn't have anything else to do, so they made something up. It happens. Not all written stuff should be taken seriously, even if it is real.

However, this is not a joke. Two guys, mind you, have created a reality show, with three women contestants who go on the show and let viewers decide whether or not to have an abortion. You can read the article here.

I really try not to judge people, unless they repeatedly demonstrate their mindless ignorance, and even then, usually my judgment is to decide not to personally watch or read or patronize them in any way. I can't control your world, nor do I want to, but I can certainly control mine.

This, however, crosses all lines of respect for women, morality, decency and just plain common sense. There is absolutely nothing funny or remotely entertaining about a woman making a life altering decision like this.

Abortion or the decision making leading up to the choice. is not a spectator sport for the hyper-testosterone, all life is sport competition junkies tired of their murder/death/kill video games.

Some of us older than 18 spent a couple of lifetimes getting the discussion to where it is today......a discussion between the woman and her doctor...rather than to have it relegated to a gossip topic on a reality show with an audience of nitwits dying to play fly on the wall during a serious situation..

Truly loving someone...means not denigrating them in anyway...These fools need to think about what their reality show says about their respect for their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, girlfriends and female friends...I know they have mothers, but I wonder if they have girlfriends, brainless or otherwise..

Underway with no American Flag and no Pledge of Allegiance to open the session and they call themselves patriots...please! Where are the flag pins? Where is the Lord's Prayer? Where the Black people at?

One thing's for sure about this Convention...Sarah Palin is going to show up and she's going to make out a like a bandit...

She says she is going to put her $100,000 speaking fee back into the movement...no specifics...just another blind promise like always..

And she has some company....Orangeman otherwise known as Ohio Congressman John Boehner (and no, I didn't vote for this fool), finally admits to being a tea bagger..says he's one of them....also said yesterday that Wall Street should give him some money so he can bury Obama....hmmm

Word out of DC this morning that one GOP fool of a lawmaker has put a hold on every Obama nominee for whatever....

Now, that's not very bipartisan, nor is it an attempt to represent the people. Blanket holds are for one reason only and that is to mess with the other party, period..

Certainly not about governance of the people, by the people or for the people..

Maybe O needs to conjure up LBJ...you remember him Lynchin' Baines Johnson, one of the best Congressman ever at twisting arms and getting legislation passed on Capital Hill...and that's before he took the White House away from JFK....but that's another story altogether.

Terror trial in NY

When are Americans going to understand that citizens have to shoulder some responsibility. You want a a war on terror...but you don't want the inconvenience or necessary sacrifice in your life or a terror trial in your backyard....when the bad guys are caught........that's called white flight...or “don't bring em to my neighborhood”

You want the military to find and kill Bin Laden...yet you're not willing to support a draft to give the military enough people to fight a real war or to find the terrorist....

You continue to demand solutions from the government....yet continue to return the obstructionists to the Hill to keep progress from happening..

The problem with white flight is that eventually the problem comes to you...(ever notice the meths labs and drug busts are all in the burbs and rural areas these days, and not in the ghettos).... and you've got no where else to run...

Obama's canceled the moon program a couple of days ago...now what cha gon do?

Heard from my Congressman yesterday....calling me “Jo” like he knows me..Thank you Congressman for addressing my concern. But I'm still not voting for you next time around.

I mean what I say. If you can talk to me when we agree...you should also talk to me when we don't. That is what I call representation. It's a dialogue between representative and constituent...not a happy sleepover, where we play games and tell each other how pretty we are.

My heart is with the Saints.....My head and money are on the Colts....Go Peyton!

Considering where Peyton lives and grew up...New Orleans is the winner no matter who takes home the trophy..

And....I saw a sneak preview of somebody doing the Bears Super Bowl shuffle again...I need a dose of my Bears....That was my favorite superbowl!
