MItt Romney's Blind Ambition Tour

I have to be honest, never, in all my years of political participation,  have I seen anything like this current campaign for President of the United States. I am at a complete loss for words about what has been taking place lately.

I thought I'd seen it all in 2008 with the McCain selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate. That move was straight out of Barnum and Bailey. It never rose to the level of Cirque to Soleil.

But here we are in 2012 and it's gotten ten times worse. We've gone from circus to Bizarro world. We've made a complete jump into another dimension. Hard to believe this stuff is going on.

The outright misrepresentation of the facts, wholesale lying and constant prevarication by the GOP ticket and RNC minions has my head spinning. I am totally dumbfounded.

The only visible goal is to destroy Obama and if that means destroying America in the process, then so be it.  Hatred is a mutherfucker, isn't it.

Because blinded by his obvious hatred of the Black man in the White House,  destroying America is what Mitt Romney tried to do a couple of days ago. He tried to slam the President while the President was doing his job as the world watched.

This fool tried to start World War III from the sidelines, or at the very least take us head long into yet another military fiasco in the Middle East, as a thank you to the rabid Jewish clown Adelson, who holds his leash and pays his bills.  Adelson is nothing more than a well funded terrorist on the Osama Bin Laden level, who buys politicians instead of bombs, maybe.

To put it bluntly, Romney was wrong on policy, timing, and understanding. He fucked up. No other way to describe it. Romney's only driving ambition is to win the White House. He is totally blinded by his desire for power. Unable to see the falacy in his latest attack.

And once again, President Obama has been left holding the bag. A bag filled to overflowing with bullshit by some simple assed non understanding and bigoted Republican.

I have no doubt that my President will fix this situation like he's handled all the other problems left him by Dubya and the many of the same NeoCons who now advise the  clueless Romney.

I hope the American people have seen enough to send this fool back to Wall Street or Mormon Hell, because he has certainly proven to be as useful as a vagina on a man.

Vote Responsibly in November.

Blue Cincinnati

364 people living in my neighborhood, voted for John McCain for president over Barack Obama. That number surprised me when I first saw it, but then again, I do live near two major universities. So maybe some of their out of town students cast votes to make their dads happy, and/or to show solidarity for those black republicans who still stand shoulder to shoulder with Ken Blackwell.

5427 people, including me, cast votes for Barack. 55% of Avondale turned out to vote this past Tuesday. And that was only a 2.3% increase of voters over 2006. That’s not a huge difference in turnout, when you think about it.

The percentage difference is the big number. That 5427 represents 93% of the votes cast going for Obama, while John McCain garnered just 6% of the count. I guess the lost 1% represent the confused.

Evanston went 90% for Obama, while McCain did get 347 votes. McCain got 229 votes in Walnut Hills, which is one of the more diverse neighborhoods in Cincinnati, both ethnically and financially.

95% of Bond Hill went for Obama. 18 people went for McCain in the West End. That was his lowest total inside Cincinnati. It was off set by the 4167 vote that McCain got in Mt. Washington. But he still lost the precinct by 1 percentage point to Obama.

In fact, of the Cincinnati’s 26 wards, only one went for McCain, that was Sedamsville/Saylor Park. And they went big for McCain, 57.8% to 39.5%. The turnout was also down from 2006.

Now outside city limits the vote was reversed, with most suburban areas going for McCain. There were major exceptions, Springfield Township, Lincoln Heights, Forest Park, Woodlawn and Golf Manor.

McCain got 9 votes in Lincoln Heights which is an all black city in Hamilton County. Maybe those votes were die hard black republicans taking a stand. Don’t know.

The total vote for the City of Cincinnati was, 98,864 for Obama, 33,289 for McCain. Percentage wise, that’s 73.5% to 24.9% for Obama. That tally represents a 3.8% increase in voters to the polls.

The burbs went 154,573 for McCain, to 109,938 for Obama. 57.5% to 40.8%...and that represents a 5.5% increase in voters to the polls over 2006.

One thing is for sure, there is still a lot of work to do when it comes to voter turnout. If voters won't turn out for this election, then what will they turn out for?

The Fat Lady is Tuning Up

She won’t be singing until November 4th, but she is beginning to clear her throat. The first word that comes to mind tonight was not presidential with regard to John McCain. It was condescending. But I’m gonna back off and exhale. We’re closer than we’ve ever been and like Obama tonight, we all need to keep our cool and get our collective butts to the polls and cast our votes, to make this man president of the United States.

McCain threw the kitchen sink at him tonight. He brought up Bill Ayers, which was a tactical mistake if you know anything debates. He started talking about his plans and possible programs but then fell back to his old attack lines. Lines so familiar by now that I could’ve parried them without breaking a sweat.

Tonight, it wasn’t Joe Sixpack. It was Joe the Plumber. And here, McCain made another mistake. He screwed up the guy’s last name, not good on TV. That’s always an indication that you haven’t fact checked yourself.

McCain had more passion tonight. Several times it looked as if he was gonna cry, especially when he talked about Congressman John Lewis’ statements last week. Lewis, you will recall, took McCain/Palin to task for demagoguery, harking back to the days of George Wallace, the segregationist who ran for president. I guess he was angry, taking Lewis' comments personally, since he said previously, that Lewis was one of his heroes. McCain wrote in his memoirs that when he was a little kid, if he got mad he would throw himself down on the ground and hold his breath until he passed out. That's what it looked like tonight, many times, except he didn't push himself to pass out. It's tough when your hero takes you to the woodshed for stuff you said.

McCain was also given a chance to defend his vice presidential choice. He said she was a great politician, a great reformer, but I never heard him answer the question, which was....Is his VP ready to step in and lead the country. McCain kind of talked around that, never actually endorsing his VP.

Another thing....is one of Palin’s kids autistic? McCain mentioned that a couple of times. You would think that he would know that, given all the thought he put into selecting Palin.

I thought he also blew it with the base when he said he would not use the litmus test of abortion in making his judicial appointments. Obama danced around that one too. Not around a woman's right to choose, but whether or not he would use the litmus test to select judges.

John McCain needed a knockout tonight. I’m a boxer’s brat and one thing I know about fights is that you can’t decision a champ. McCain did not get his knockout. In the end he just kind of faded, tired and out of shape.

I would have like to hear more about the current financial mess, but I guess we will have to wait until after the election.

I think Obama won this one, too. And I guess many Ohioans agree with me, the Channel 12 phone poll had it 55% thought Obama won. Up until last week, this poll was overwhelmingly favoring McCain. I guess Ohio is painting itself Blue these days.

These next three weeks will be like waiting for Christmas..

Karma Come Back-Troopergate et al

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser...

McCain actually tried to calm down his crowd today when they got rowdy and hateful toward Obama. The crowd then turned on him....

Then the troopergate report is released and guess what...the great reformer Sarah Palin is found to have abused her office...

Just another Karma Smackdown!

Naked Ambition

"Turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers. And according to The New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol,'" She will say according to excerpts released by the campaign. "Wow. And there’s even more to the story. Barack Obama said Ayers was just someone in the neighborhood. But that’s less than truthful. His own top advisor said they were, quote, 'certainly friendly.'
That’s a quote from Sarah Palin addressing a gathering in Clearwater Florida this morning. She is attempting to portray Obama as dangerous through his associations. This particular slur is being replayed by the McCain campaign in new ads hitting the air waves today.

As was stated before, Obama was 8 years old when William Ayers was doing his thing with the Weather Underground. I was in college at the time. I remember them well. A bunch of rich white kids with way too much time on their hands and money at their disposal. They were mad at everybody and they bought bombs to blow things up...not battling for civil rights as the rest of us were doing. Ayers has apparently paid his debt to society and is now a college professor. He and Obama apparently served on some charity board together and he then threw a party for Obama’s campaign.

Question for you....Which is worse....sitting on a charity board with a former radical from the sixties...or sleeping with a real live active terrorist in the same bed?

Isn’t it time to talk to Governor Palin about the associations of her husband, Todd, with the Alaskan Independent Party? The AIP wants to secede from the USA. They have a slogan that says Alaska First, not Country First. . Read what Wikipedia says about the AIP and it’s associations with the Constitution Party.

When Palin gave her acceptance speech, she wore the flag of Alaska, not the stars and stripes of America. The AIP earlier said the governor was also a member, but I guess the McCain camp got to her to make her disavow her association. The AIP also apparently flip flopped under pressure.

Let me ask you this...with the exception of 9/11 hijackers, who had Saudi Arabian passports ....Who were the terrorists that have attacked this country?....were they homegrown...did they look like Obama...or do they bear a striking resemblance to the First Dude of Alaska?

Do the young dudes with unlimited access to money, to weaponry, shoot up their schools, kill their classmates and voice hate for this country, look like Obama....or do they resemble Todd Palin?

Do the men of Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma Bombing, Posse Comitatus, The Identity movement, That bunch pushing RAHOWA (racial holy war), look like the Obamas of the world...or do they look like Sarah Palin’s husband? Hell, does Bill Ayers look like Obama....or does he look and sound more like Todd Palin?

I’m not afraid of the men who look, act and talk like Barack Obama. Terrorists who look like Obama are held in check by racism. Everybody is always looking for the big bad black man or arab, while the white guy with the dynamite and AK-47 gets a pass..from the government, from cops, from their neighbors and yeah, even us black people. But, honestly, I’m very afraid of guys like Todd Palin and the women who back them up. There is a very big difference to sitting on a board or attending a party, then between joining and participating in an organization that wants to do away with the United States of America. We’re not talking history here...the weather underground doesn’t exist anymore. The AIP is active as we speak.

These guys are out in the open with their feelings and as it were...one heart beat away from the presidency of the country they want to do destroy.

I know Todd’s not running for office, but his wife is and no one is asking her the tough questions about her associations with the militants in her closet and her bed, or the crazy preacher at her church. She needs to talk about it if she is going to throw mud at people.

I have already said that I believe John McCain is a Manchurian candidate. If you know the story, the term refers to a brain washed prisoner of war soldier who comes back to America and runs for president, thereby implementing a bloodless coup of the United States.

I think we should not only look at the candidate himself, but the associates he intends to bring with him into the White House.

Let me put it another way, McCain is batshit crazy and we're in deep, deep trouble...

American Taliban

Buried underneath all the financial bad news of the past week is a story in the Washington Post about 33 pastors who have decided to defy the governmental edict by mixing politics with religion from the pulpit.

One of them, the Reverend Ron Johnson, jr. told his congregation that a vote for Barack Obama represents a moral schizophrenia and was in violation of the Bible. Johnson stopped short of endorsing John McCain, but not by much.

The 33 ministers are part of a group that is attempting to generate a court battle that will ultimately overturn the 54 year old ban on telling their congregations how to vote. They say they have a constitutional right to tell their people who to vote for. They say the law violates their rights to religious expression.

The law, which is part of the national tax code says churches or any entity with a tax exempt status are barred from participating in, or of intervening in any political campaign on behalf of any person or public office. The law was enacted to prevent the joining of church and state government. There is no such ban on pastors who talk issues from the pulpit.

The IRS has taken no action...it says it is monitoring the situation.

For me, the solution is simple...if you want to talk politics from the pulpit...give up your tax exempt status. Pay taxes like the rest of us and you can say anything you want.

These blatant attempts to circumvent one of the basic tenants under lying the founding of this country has always scared the hell out of me. The people who came to these shores, and founded our country, and authored the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, were escaping from religious persecution, not running toward it with the goal of setting up their own system of preferential abuse.

If these American Taliban are ever successful at infusing our government with religion, me and people like me, will be in big trouble. There are things about me that I can’t change...the very things that make me, me, are the things that these fanatics, and they are fanatic, want to control...lock away...kill...

I’m a woman....they want to take away my control of the only thing I really own....my body..
I’m black....their religious book says I should be a slave....
I’m lesbian.....they say I can’t love the one I choose...or that I should be killed for having such thoughts...
I’m left handed......at one point in our history...left handed babies were put to death because it was said that left handed children were sired by the devil....

Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, in 1956....My first grade teacher tried to make me right handed because she said it wasn’t correct to use your left hand.. I told my Mom...she put a stop to it...That teacher should have lost her job, because who knows how many other little kids she messed up because they didn’t tell their mom, or their mom chose not to intervene in the abuse.

Civil rights for Blacks and the LGBT community continues.....look at the vicious racial attacks on Obama in this campaign...I’ve had my fair share of personal brushes with racism, some of it based in the old testament, my phone chats with the late Bill Wilkinson, grand wizard of the KKK, for instance. I was okay with him until I told him I was black, this coming six weeks into our weekly phone conversations....He couldn’t tell I was black by hearing me talk....When I started in broadcasting...I had a news director tell me that I was too light to be black on television...I’m high yellow in complexion, as we say in the ghetto...I can’t help that...My complexion is testimony to the race mixing of America...been going on for ages...yet this white man chose to judge me for color...never mind that I had a track record of running rings around every other reporter he had on staff.....I won that battle....I worked in darker makeup for about six months..until he stopped paying attention...It didn’t end there...but it’s over...I don’t choose to look back....unless provoked.

The specter of the repeal of Roe v. Wade looms large these days...It’s not just about abortion..It’s about returning women to second class citizenship or the days of barefoot and pregnant. There is actually a legal group who is studying whether or not women can be limited in their travel or crossing of state lines, if they seem to be with child..or someone thinks they may be traveling in order to get an abortion...no proof necessary...just the suspicion would be enough...

Anyone who is sitting on the fence need only look to the middle east to see religion taking over government....dissenters silenced in the name of religion...women killed in the name of religion.

Don’t think it can happen here? Listen to the pseudo Christians of the conservative right. Listen to the Governor of that great state of Alaska. The concentration camps have already been built with our taxpayer money by KBR, the Bush/Cheney favored corporation. Bush, as I said has done away with some basic civil rights protections that would make it easy to co-opt the government if the religious right in this country makes it to the White House. Don’t believe me, then go read The Patriot Act. We basically have no rights. The trouble is most of us won’t know, until the government starts to use our laws against us.

Back to the topic at hand....In an open letter from the Rev. Eric Williams, of the United Church of Christ...he warned that many members of the clergy are "exchanging their historic religious authority for a fleeting promise of political power," to the detriment of their churches.

"The role of the church -- of congregation, synagogue, temple and mosque -- and of its religious leaders is to stand apart from government, to prophetically speak truth to power," Williams wrote, "and to encourage a national dialogue that transcends the divisiveness of electoral politics and preserves for every citizen our 'first liberty.' "

I just hope that more people are listening to Rev Williams than Rev Johnson.

S.O.S.D.D....

Things You Need to Know....

1...Remember: 91 and 134...

91-the number of times that John McCain has voted with George Bush
134-the number of lobbyists currently employed by the McCain campaign-those numbers courtesy of Paul Begala

2...Sarah Palin attributes her success to a an African witch doctor

3...It’s not just the Supreme Court that we have to worry about....The GOP has literally gutted the ranks of the federal courts from where Supco judges are chosen...

4...Talk about total irrelevance...

Donald Trump has endorsed John McCain for president on the Larry King show....SO! Trump continues to be one of the biggest jokes on the planet.....

well maybe one of them......there is that woman named de Rothechild who thinks that she matters to the rest of us....she used to raise money for Hillary...now she is a McCain supporter because,

“Frankly, I don’t like him.” She said, referring to Obama...Oh, and she also called him an elitist...she is smart enough not to use the N-word outright....but she used the word that means the N-word in today’s parlance.....pictures show that she suffers from terminal blondeness of the bottle variety...

5...Troopergate is unraveling

Looks like all those attorneys that the McCain campaign has been throwing at the problem are working....Troopergate is either going to die or be delayed until after the election..

6....Let’s all cheer!

Hit him again, hit him again...harder...harder!

Obama used Rush Limbaugh to slam McCain on immigration and Limbaugh is whining ,alleging racism on the part of Obama...

The pill poppin’, bigot can’t take a dose of his own medicine....sissy! No offense meant to my sissy friends..

Day of the Negro

I know everyone was waiting with baited breath for Sarah Palin’s coming out speech. But while I was waiting for that, I counted heads....black heads inside the convention, who weren’t obviously reporters, photographers, or producers for the news media. Found a few, very few, very far and in between the sea of white people. I was hoping to trip over some Hispanics, too. But other than the guy who spoke last night, there weren’t too many of them present, either. The current governing party has absolutely no resemblance to America.

Well, the stats show there were 36 black delegates to this year’s grand old party. That’s down from a whopping 167 back in 2004. Gee, wonder what happened to all that 2004 happy talk about the GOP taking 25% of the African American vote by 2020? Looks like the party is sliding backward.

Not that there is much to slide back from...

The two Negroes who showed themselves were Michael Steele...this era’s Clarence Thomas and some Texas state bureaucrat named Michael Williams. They followed the party script of gleefully attacking Obama, personally, while staying away from the issues.

John McCain has already publicly dismissed the black vote, conceding it to Obama. McCain feels if he can grab everyone else, the black vote won’t matter, once again. That’s old school GOP strategy..nothing new...business as usual....no politics of change here...

Other than stating that her husband was half-something other than white, Palin paid no attention or lip service to the diverse nature of the USA either.

I’ve found much of what I’ve seen out of the GOP to be offensive, starting with those “prosperity” signs the delegates were waving at every opportunity...Whose prosperity...certainly not mine...or people like me. The GOP continues to operate as if the election is a conversation among white people...the rest of us should just shut up, listen and wait for the crumbs to trickle down...

Palin’s speech was good on delivery and presentation, but very short on facts. It was vicious, condescending and very, very mean spirited. She fell in line with the clueless Mitt and the useless Giuliani in ridiculing Obama, never bothering to address the issues. Even Huckabuck was nasty, not in keeping with a so called preacher...politics before religion, I guess.

I am bothered by all the reporters who are going out of their way to apologize for doing their jobs..They should not be apologizing for asking questions. Disneyland is an amusement park...OZ is a fairytale....Politics is real, not a myth....politicians and their stories should be questioned...and rewarded if they speak truth....but slapped down if they constantly spin lies to garner power.

There was no high road taken, last night.

Sarah Palin reminded me of one of my favorite literary characters....Madame DeFarge from the Dickens novel...A Tale of Two Cities...Madame DeFarge would quietly knit while sitting at the guillotine watching the aristocracy get their heads cut off. Madame DeFarge looked like this kindly old woman, but housed a vicious streak, a mile long.

I would recommend that Palin read the book except for the fact that she is reportedly in favor of banning books, and reportedly tried to do so in her home town, when she was mayor. I’m sure Dickerns is on her list of stuff that should be relegated to the bonfire.

The stuff that she didn’t talk about last night bothers me more than the attacks....like her relationship to the Alaska Independence Party. Both Palin and Todd, the first Dude wore Alaska lapel pins instead of American flag pins....I thought the flag pin was the ultimate testament to patriotism....Conservatives have been stinking up the place for months about those damn flag pins...and the newly anointed GOP savior of American womanhood steps to the podium in her finest hour without one on her lapel?

So who comes first?..............Country....or Alaska....

The AIP, for those of you don’t know...wants Alaska to secede from the union and become it’s own country.....We, as a country went through this once before....back in the 1860's....it was called the Civil War...

I’d like to see somebody question her form of Pentecostal Christianity. From what I’ve read it’s just as bad as what Reverend Wright is alleged to have preached, according to pseudo Christian conservatives.

And there is still Troopergate or the alleged abuse of gubernatorial power against her ex brother in law....still under investigation...Palin has hired an attorney..which means there will probably be a delay in reporting the findings of the investigation until after the November election...

Who’s hiding?...she behind her attorney.....McCain behind her...

Wake up America...We can screw it up...worse then it is already!

Enough with the Fluff

Let’s get back on Point, shall we........I was going to comment about why Sarah Palin’s selection as a vice presidential candidate amounts to little more than peripheral B. S., but somebody’s already put up a website.

I can’t say it any better...so...check it out for yourself:

http://www.sarahpalinisnthillaryclinton.com

In my readings today, I came across an article that states even Palin’s mother in law isn’t sure what she brings to the national stage or why McCain chose her:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/republican_race/2008/08/30/2008-08-30_sarah_palins_motherinlaw_uncertain_about.html

And then there is the story about the two biggest newspapers in Alaska...neither of whom considers Palin qualified to be Vice President, let alone commander in chief..

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/greg-mitchell/2-top-alaska-newspapers-q_b_122625.html

It’s weird when the hometown newspapers won’t support the native son, or in this case daughter...

Late breaking stuff today...More of McCain's obvious forgetfulness...

I do believe we have stepped off into the twilight zone.

One other thing caught my eye today....Cindy is offended that Obama keeps talking about her husband’s houses....She never defended her husband...she took it as a slap against her father...her dead father...the one who left her the 100-million dollars...and who was a convicted felon..actually served time in jail.......Lady has her priorities in order...

Question: Why wasn’t the McCain adopted daughter on the PEOPLE magazine cover? Why is she never mentioned...did they unadopt her?....send her back to Mother Teresa?

Just asking..

Debra Bartoshevich’s McCain Ad

A symbolic blowjob...that’s all this advertisement amounts to.... McCain benefits...Debra ends up with.....”stuff” all over her face.

The woman always gets dumped and disavowed after the act. She even gets stuck with the cleaning bill. Just ask the intern...or in McCain’s case...the lobbyist.

I’ve said it before...his policies and practices are totally and completely anti woman and family..his so called pro life stance, not withstanding. Voting for McCain is like cutting off your nose to spite your face...remember that old cliche?

Karma is a bitch...you fight dirty...you get dirty...

Your 15 minutes are up, Debra...now go home!

4.07.2008

Monday Moments....

There are some movies that play on television that I never miss, no matter what. I can recite the lines of these movies, word for word in my sleep. Charlton Heston figures in two of these movies, Ben Hur and The Ten Commandments. I watch them religiously and have for as long as I’ve had a TV set. Heston also starred in two other movies that I watch over and over.....Planet of the Apes and The Omega Man. I read the Pierre Boule book before the movie came out. The Omega Man captured my attention because it also starred the late great Rosalind Cash. Besides being a Sci Fi movie it was also an interracial love story between Rosalind and Charlton. But I didn’t know there was a love scene in it until I rented the movie and watched it unedited. TV versions apparently felt that black-white love was too much for G rated TV at the time. The Omega Man was recently released as I Am Legend starring Will Smith, without the interracial love story.

More than his acting career, Heston was known as the president of the NRA. I don’t know if anyone was ever able to pry his gun from his “cold dead hands” but he stood up for what he believed and I don’t fault him for that. For those of us who can remember, Heston also stood behind Dr. Martin Luther King during the March on Washington in 1963. He was a complex man. Not just an actor. He seemed to actually be the man he played on film...honest, forthright and honorable.

Rest in Peace, Mr Heston...

**********
Chocolate-wrapped GOP

I don’t care how you dress it up... a pig is still a pig....putting Condoleeza on the GOP presidential ticket as VP to McCain won’t make any difference. And it’s an insult to think that it will sway black people simply because of the woman’s skin color. She is still part of a failed administration that doesn’t give a damn about blacks or poor whites.

She was part of the lie that put us in Iraq. She has been all but invisible in trying to deal with that situation. Dubya has her riding herd on Palestine, no less.

The sooner we get done with anything Bush, the better off we will be, chocolate wrapped or not.

9.28.2006

Gutless Congress

So much for standing up to the President. Somewhere on the road to holding him accountable, Warner, McCain and Graham caved in and gave Dubya what he wanted. Thanks to this so called compromise, Dubya can say what parts of the articles of the Geneva Convention will be followed.

Dubya has the call the on what constitutes torture and what tactics can be used to extract information from detainees.

The House passed this bill last night, the Senate is expected to do the same today.

Now the door is open for other countries to interpret these rules when it comes to our POWs who may be taken captive.

Politics, politics, politics...using the lives and well being of our troops as a bargaining tool is unconscionable.

Meanwhile, a new poll out this morning says 92% of Iraqis want America out of Iraq. I’m okay with that....if they think they can handle their business without us....fine...let’s come home.

Believe me, we got enough trouble on the home front to keep the army busy.

It will be interesting to see how the White House interprets this number later today...

9.25.2006

Monday Musings.........

Dubya in town today to raise money for two disappearing Republicans. Both Chabot and DeWine say they are “independents” in their campaign ads. They’ve been running away from their records for awhile now. It’s no secret that they’ve both voted with Bush nearly one hundred percent.

But I guess they can’t wean themselves off the Bush tit for money.

McCain will be in town too, in a separate appearance. I don’t trust him either. He is sounding more and more like Bush everyday.

And he led the cave-in to the President on how to treat terror suspects. Can you spell sell out?

**************

The Prez will undoubtedly be talking about how safe we are since he started the fight in Iraq. Well, there is a highly classified report circulating Washington, telling the White House that Iraq has become an incubator for terrorists.

The report put together by military and defense experts, says Iraq has made us less safe, rather than more safe since 9/11. The report accuses the White House of being too optimistic in its presentations about the war.

How about calling it what it is....... a lie...

**************

The body count in Iraq....65 women, 2700 men, and 100 Iraqi citizens per day, The White House refuses to lets pics of the caskets coming home be seen in order to deny the truth about what is really happening to our young people there.

*************

Elections officials are voicing fear that the bush–o-matic electronic voting machines may not perform as billed. I have previously talked about the fact that they have no paper back up and are no where near tamper proof. One Governor said he wanted to use something other than the touch screen machines because he didn’t want his state becoming another Florida or Ohio.

Not a peep out of Sec. of State/wannabe governor Ken Blackwell, the man who bought the bush-o-matic to Ohio....while owning Diebold stock when he signed the contract...shall we add conflict of interests to his many, many negatives?

***************

Don’t breathe just yet, Congressional Republicans are going after social security once again. They’re still busy thinking up new ways to shaft middle America.
