Secret Black Supporters?! Mitt You Know You Lyin'

I can hear my grandmother now;

“Mitt, baby....you sure you talking to real people...the ones outside your head...the ones you can actually see and shake hands with?”

“Secret Black Supporters? “

“Lawd, lawd, lawd...Boy if my lumbago weren't actin' up, I'd beat the white off your behind for tellin' that lie.”

“What am I gonna do with you?!”

“Give me strength, gawd....give me strength...Help this boy to see the light, please gawd!” (praying while she whips your ass)

(Insert heavy sigh)

Even when Mitt is actively trying not to step in shit, he does it anyway, goes and messes up another pair of wingtips...damn.

Romney told Fox News following his visit to the NAACP today that many blacks support him and plan to vote for him, but they don't want anyone to know.

Why not? Lots of Black people support republicans...hell they are republicans...Why wouldn't they support Romney and talk about it.

Who are these so called Black leaders afraid of....It's certainly not Obama.

Anybody who has paid attention these past four years knows the President is not into retaliation and payback.

If he was, the blue dog democrats would be history. Cheney and Bush would be in jail. Karl Rove wouldn't be walking around peddling his racist Crossroads GPS off as a social welfare organization. The Catholic Bishops would not have been consulted about birth control for women before the memo was issued.

That fool who shouted out during the State of the Union Address and Justice Alito...if Obama was vindictive...they might have found themselves cleaning toilets in one of the secret black ops prisons somewhere in this world, you betcha.

But as we all know, the President is determined to work in a bipartisan manner, even while ya'll continue to spit in his face, day after day after day.

If not Obama, then who? Inquiring minds want to know.

Romney's comments are insidious, and racist (yes, I'm playin' it). It implies that we Blacks are monolithic in our thinking and that we punish those who proceed to move against the common thinking. The implication that we vote for Obama solely because of his skin color and not because of his programs and ideology continues to be offensive. Much like that patronizing piece of crap you delivered to the NAACP today.

Nobody calls it race unity when we vote for white people. Nobody calls it race unity when a bunch of white people gather around a tree for a cookout and lynching. One black guy gets elected and all of a sudden, its a Black conspiracy where no opposition is tolerated from the community.

Give me a fucking break.

Note to Willard: There is one problem with your attack that unemployment in the Black community is 14.4%. It won't fly. Black unemployment is always and has been in my lifetime (6 decades), double white unemployment, even in the good years. It was so bad during Reagan's administration that he literally changed the rules on how minority unemployment was counted.

Read my lips; WE-ARE-USE-TO-THE-BULLSHIT that has brought so many whites to their knees these past few years.

Last hired, first fired...been there...done that.

Blacks are born in survival mode Mitt,...doesn't pop up just because the country is in a depression.

Obama cannot correct something like this in three years. Ain't possible.

Now you come promising to repeal healthcare, trash the public school system, and destroy the safety net designed to keep people from falling through the cracks.

You told the NAACP that you will restore Voodoo Economics on your first day in the White House.

Well, voodoo is African in origin, but not all of us Blacks practice, believe or are afraid of Voodoo.

Think about it.

John Boehner's Voodoo Econ Plan

Got a question for you....given a choice between a 40 year old Edsel and a 2011 hybrid Explorer, which car would you drive? Or to put it another way, if you were asked to give up your I-pad computer and required to work on an Apple IIe, in order to do your job, would you be happy to make the change?

For most, the answer to both questions is a resounding "no!" No Edsel and no Apple IIe.

The Edsel was a lousy car, conceived by an ego driven business mogul paying homage to his son of the same name, that thankfully didn't last very long. Nobody would buy it and those who did, complained about its inefficiency and bad ride.  The old Apple computer was great for its time, back in the day. However it is vastly outclassed by 21st century computing machines. Completely inefficient by today's standards.

New and modern with better ease of use has always ruled the day and pushed humans further into the future. Progress is a good one word description.

Yet, with the American love for the shiny and new,  why do we still embrace a 40 year old economic theory that has never worked? Talking about voodoo economics, now called  the GOP plan for job creation, that Speaker of the House John Boehner will unveil today during another rotary club speech in Middletown.

The complete plan is on Boehner's website. You can read it here.

To sum it up it is heavy on more tax cuts for the wealthy, budget reductions for all social programs including killing medicare and social security, as well as a  massive elimination of regulations designed to protect the middle class from predatory corporations. It is pretty much a rewrite of  Congressman Paul Ryan's budget plan, which is a rewrite of the plan put forth by Bush the younger, which was a rewrite of the Contract on America, which was a rewrite on Bush the Elder's plan, which was inherited from Ronald Reagan's voodoo economics, spiced up by the fictional free market philosophies created by writer Ayn Rand.

 SOPDD...same old plan, different day.

Nothing new dating all the way back to the day Ronald Reagan came up with the plan to screw the middle class into oblivion. Bush the elder, an old school Republican, actually coined the phrase "voodoo economics" recognizing the falacies of the logic. Then he promptly sold his soul to the devil and became Reagan's VP effectively signing onto and thereby validating the lie that is trickle down economics.

If Bush had stood firm, voodoo economics might have gone the way of the Edsel. Instead it continues to hang around today, 40 years later, helping more conservative right wing zealots nail down the lid on the coffin of middle America.

Reagan promised to balance the budget in 4 years...he didn't.  Then he promised to balance the budget in 4 more years...he didn't. Bush the Elder found himself in the unenviable position of attempting to balance the budget while promising not to raise taxes...he couldn't.

Along comes Bill Clinton who stops the trickle down craziness and low and behold the budget balances and son of a gun, there is is even a budget surplus.

Then Bush the younger comes in and promptly reinstates trickle down..slashes taxes...starts two wars illegally...authors a massive social program with no way to pay for it...usurps the civil liberties and freedoms of American citizens. ends most deregulation allowing business to run roughshod and amok and suddenly America is on the brink of collapse.

Come 2008, The American people, tired of the illegal wars, and a tanking economy, wrap this pile of dogstuff into a  leaky brown paper bag and hand it to Barack Obama and tell the anointed "magic negro"  to dispose of it like a a good boy, quickly, which is of course, impossible.

To make matters worse, they don't give BTMN a full four years to effect change....the American people give him two years instead of four to scrub the congressional hallways clean. They don't give him any help...just tell him  to git her done.

Obama has accomplished many wonderful things for the American people...almost everything except create jobs, leaving the American people very unhappy with the situation and still seeking change.

The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting change. Well, that is exactly what the American people keep doing. Unhappy with Obama's apparent timidity and or unwillingness to act more decisively, the midterm elections were used to reinstate  the teabag driven GOP, which immediately took it upon itself to declare war on women and children. The destruction of the middle class was returned to the front burner.

Boehner and company ran on the premise that they would create jobs....They have not...In fact...they haven't tried being too busy pushing their outdated, and bigoted social mores onto the rest of the population. From the midterms on, it has been painfully obvious once again, that the only agenda for the GOP is to dismantle the great society, take women out of the workforce and defeat Barack Obama at all costs, even if it means sinking America. Long live trickle down economics.

And it will, unless America breaks the crazy loop in which it is caught and rejects the voodoo creation that is the Ryan/Boehner/GOP's Job Creation plan, once and for all.

Poor People-Caught in the Crossfire

The on-going war by white guys against the black guy in the White House....

Man, that was quick. Less than 24 hours after he who would be speaker of the house stated he was willing to compromise on tax cuts for the rich and famous, John Boehner got
knee capped by Miz Mitch McConnell.

McConnell said “hell no, we ain't gonna compromise with no democrats!” If the rich don't get a tax break, then neither will the middle class.

Damn the middle class, he said in so many words. And the truly onerous part of all this is that several Democrats are going to side with the GOP as they thumb their noses
at us.

In one weekend, we've heard “screw the middle the class,” and “no jobs bill” and we'll hold our breath and “shut down the whole government” if we don't get our way immediately.

To add insult to injury, the GOP is promising to mount Clinton impeachment-like investigations of President Obama if they are able to take control of Congress come November.

For those of you who may not remember, the Clintons both of them, spent much of their time battling false allegations hurled at them by the GOP, just because they could.
Nothing....Nothing the GOP said was true....their only intent was to paralyze government.

Trust me...it will be worse...if they officially go after Obama...given what they've been doing to him these past four years..

And then...there is this insistence on continuing Voodoo Economics...or suppy side economics...or trickle down economics...It's all the same crap no matter what you call it. I
like what Geraldine Ferraro said about it back in the day...

“I'd call it a new version of voodoo economics, but I'm afraid that would give witch doctors a bad name.” -Geraldine Ferraro

For those who have no clue...voodoo economics was a termed coined by the first President Bush to describe Ronald Reagan's economic plan for America...that same one that the
GOP keeps shoving down our collective throats and is destroying the country as we speak. Of course, Reagan made Bush his Vice President and suddenly Voodoo Economics became an acceptable way to screw poor people.

Trickle down, or Supply side, whatever you want to call it, theorizes that by cutting taxes...you stimulate supply of goods and products and at the same time...increase demand
for those supplies and products....These witch doctors also theorize that a market flooded with product, increases labor and keeps prices lower...

Allrighty then....while this may look good on paper....it does not work in the real world....ever...and you only have to look at the past 20 years to see that...

Reaganomics, to use the good term...worked wonders for rich people....they got the tax cuts...but rather than “trickle it down” they put in the bank and invested it for their own benefit...

Left poor people hanging and government bereft of much needed income for providing services...as a result...the government had to resort to borrowing money...which is
why we're up to our ass in alligators and in debt to China....Later for speaking Spanish..ya'll better be about learning Mandarin, it's so bad...

Under Reagan's voodoo economics....the deficit quadrupled....when Reagan actually campaigned on the promise that he would balance the budget in four years...then it was “okay” I'll do it in the next four years....Didn't happen..

Not then...won't happen now...not under voodoo econ 101....

And when you add outsourcing the American job market to other third world countries...you have complete and utter economic disaster....just like what we're going
through now...

No income to pull us out of the recession...because of the demand by the right to give tax cuts to those who don't need them...

No jobs for those who need them, because the jobs market has moved overseas and will not come back.

A government shutdown...well it may happen, if the GOP and Newt and his mini mes return to Capital Hill..

And some stupid Democrats are saying that maybe if we use supply side econ in a properly controlled situation, then maybe it will work for us...REALLY?

We have a game like that....played by idiots...it's called Russian Roulette...

I ain't suicidal....and I do know what happens when you put a gun to your head and pull the trigger...

Miz Mitch and Eric-boy Cantor want to pretend that they are really giving the tax cuts to small business, which is another bogus claim...John Boehner also admitted this during
his Sunday bubble of lucidity....Boehner admitted that only about 3% of small business would pay higher taxes under the tax plan put forth by President Obama.

THAT MEANS THAT 97% OF SMALL BUSINESS WILL GET A TAX CUT UNDER THE OBAMA PLAN....It is nothing more than “Screw Obama” by any means necessary...

“The only truly new ideas [the right] has come up with in the last twenty years are (1) supply side economics, which is a way of redistributing the wealth upward toward
those who already have more than they know what to do with, and (2) creationism, which is a parallel idea for redistributing ignorance out from its fundamentalist strongholds to those who know more than they need to.”
-Anonymous

Russian Roulette...nothing more...

Hey Homes, You Messed Up, Man-Another Open Letter to the President

You left that sista hangin', man. You didn't help her. In fact, you let your boys beat her up worse than those fools at Fox News. And, then when the shit hit the fan, man, you ducked, hid out in the White House and sent your mouth piece to talk for you, when you should've apologized personally, as soon as it turned around.

This lady runs deep in Civil Rights history, man. She has walked the walk all her life before you was Barack Obama. You messed up man. Messed up. Never should a happened in the first place. You didn't have her back, when you should have.

And now everybody's mad at ya.

But you know, I think some of it's our fault too. We expected so much of you. We assumed so much of you. We assumed you had our back, that when we called you “Homes” you knew what that meant.

You were honest, dude. You told us about how you was raised up. How your black daddy left your white mother to raise you in her world. You told the truth. You didn't try to fool nobody. We just saw what we wanted to see and made it happen. We got a Black President.

The thing is you look black, man, like your daddy, but you react to the world the way your mother taught you. You don't really know what it's like for black people in America, because you ain't never been there.

You been to Indonesia and around the world. You learned how to play hoops realistically, however if Reggie told the truth, he would probably say you play like a white boy, steady, effective, but no MJ flash.

Your journey leading up to this point took you through the white world, through the real Harvard instead of Illinois college of higher learning for Black men, otherwise known as the Cook County Jail. You spent more time with your mother's people than you have with us and it shows.

Look at any black looking person who has spent his or her life being the “fly in the buttermilk” and you will see a person who is not really comfortable around other black people. They can't help it, and neither can you. It's what they and you are used to. The internal understanding of Black America is simply not there.

You can sit down and share a beer with the Skippy Gates of the world. He is just like you, always reveling in the lack of black genes in his own gene pool. He looks black, but as he so often reminds..he's three quarters white. You seem to want to relate differently than Gates, but you don't know how. You are at least trying.

No disrespect, but you can't dance, man. You ain't got no rhythm, no moves, no empathy for your father's people. You weren't raised with black consciousness. Viscerally, you don't understand Blackness. You're like that wild animal rescued by humans, who can't be released back into the wild because he's never been wild or totally free in the first place.

When we put you in the White House, we figured you would have our back, that we could trust you to instinctively know things, black-things, and that finally there was a President who understood and would work it out for us, even while he was placating the man. No, we weren't looking for change overnight, far from it. As the godfather of soul said...we just wanted someone to finally open the door and let us in...we can serve ourselves.

We refused to believe, despite what you handed us by way of your cabinet and by the stances that you continue to take, that you not only work to placate the man...you are he and he is you.

No offense meant, Homes. You look like us, but you ain't us.

C'mon Homes, you know nobody really wants that chump change welfare check. You can't live off that shit.

We was expecting a massive program to put people to work immediately, not after you get out of office. You policies are worse than the voodoo economics of Reagan. We was already in deep doo-doo from Reagan and the mismanagement, lies and wars created by Bush the younger, and now you're putting stuff into place that you say will make things better...we just have to wait until 2014 or later...

2014 ain't gon be no middle class, or regular people, man just rich people and the poor who serve them.

Homes, we elected you because we like you, because you're smart, because you really are the best of America at this point in time.

But you got to do better. You got to stop flinching every time the Right fakes a sucker punch. You need to learn how to counter punch.

Rather than simply breaking bread with our people, you need to sit down on the stoop ….go visit the hood....go check out the unemployment lines....cop a seat at the welfare office and play with the babies.....talk to old black people....have you really listened to your mother in law...engaged her in a conversation about blackness, because if you have, it doesn't appear that you really heard her.

You've done a lot... accomplished a lot in a very short time and we really, really are proud of you.

But you're missing the big picture, Homes, and it may bring about early foreclosure and eviction from the beautiful big White House that you're currently renting and calling home.

It's not too late for change.
